Did you know that our bodies are made of up to 60% water!? Water makes just about everything in your body work properly, so ensuring you drink enough each and every day is so important! Infusing your water is the perfect way to make sure you are drinking enough, helping to keep you hydrated.
Infusing water with fruits and vegetables adds a tasty, fresh flavor to your water, along with some water soluble vitamins (such as vitamin c) that will leach out into the water, giving it an extra kick! Lucky for you, infused waters are super easy to make! Simply chop up your desired mix of fruits and vegetables, (the smaller you chop them, the easier they will infuse into the water) pop them into your favourite jug, (mine has a filter section to keep all the fruit out of my cup) fill with water and enjoy! You can refill the water as needed, but keep in mind that the taste (and vitamin content) will decrease with each refill. Keep your jug in the fridge, changing the fruits and vegetables every two to three days.
Strawberry, Apple, Lemon and Rosemary Infused Water
Rosemary is a star when it comes to improving your memory, making this infusion the perfect accompaniment for studying students! The lemon will kick start your metabolism, helping to improve digestion. And if nothing else... it sure looks pretty!
Ingredients
(Amount's will vary depending on your jug size. Add approx. 1 quarter of fruit mix to 3 quarters of water)

1. Wash fruits and ensure any produce stickers are removed. If fruits are not organic, you can choose to peel them if you wish

Here is a list of other fruits and vegetables (okay, there's only one vegetable) that work well in infused water. Adding fresh herbs such as mint, basil or lavender will take your infusion to the next level.
